The Air Ray
The Air Ray relates to the spoken word, our communication. It opens and activates our throat chakra, giving it more power to express our truth. This ray helps us move towards greater self-acceptance so that we can speak truthfully of our emotions. It helps us take back our power. It also opens the brow chakra. The planet mercury holds this energy for us.
Air Ray Activates the Throat chakra
The Air Ray works to open the throat chakra. Situated as it is between the heart and brow chakra, the throat chakra is very important for our inner communication, the communication between our daily consciousness and our Soul presence.
Opening our throat chakra allows us to feel how we truly feel at a deeper level, that may be restricted in us when our throat chakra is closed. It allows us to feel back through our many past experiences, even from other lifetimes, to remember our Soul experiences and work with the energies there from them.
The open throat chakra allows us to speak our truth.
The throat chakra also allows us to have communication at a deeper level with our Soul presence and enables us to hear our guidance from Spirit.
The throat chakra is also connected to the heart chakra and is the means through which we can express the truth of our Divine nature that we experience through our heart chakra.
Becoming Aware of Soul-Deep Feelings
The Air Ray opens the throat chakra to allow us to feel the Soul-deep feelings and memories which are normally hidden beneath the surface.
Opening the throat chakra allows us to experience, acknowledge and accept our deepest feelings which feel like our deepest truth. Nothing of us is unacceptable yet we are often taught as children to deny many of our ‘unacceptable’ feelings or beliefs. Opening the throat chakra brings these repressed feelings back into our awareness so that we can acknowledge and accept them as valid parts of ourselves.
When we integrate all parts of ourselves in this way, we allow them to be a part of the total experience of what it is to be us.
There may also be an increased awareness of karmic (past life) events. This may not be an exact memory of the event but rather a release of the energy that was created in the chakra because of it. Sometimes I can see the life event from a previous life that has helped initiate the block in the throat chakra.
Speaking Your Truth
This enables us to speak our truth more freely to others, not feeling we must hide what may have felt unacceptable before.
To speak of our innermost feelings requires us to release any fears or attachments we have to the outcome, or what others think about us. However, freeing up our self-expression in this way helps us to take back our power and be true to ourselves more deeply.
Opens Communication with your Higher Self
The throat chakra is about communication between all parts of ourselves, from our Soul energy to our normal human consciousness. When our throat chakra opens it allows communication between our daily awareness and our Spirit or God. It opens our clairaudience.
Clairaudience & Inner Guidance
Clairaudience is our inner hearing. It is the communication between the higher self and the lower self. It is also the way that we hear the guidance and messages from our Spirit guides and helpers.
It is a subtle hearing that occurs in addition to the way our physical ears hear sound. It is not physical sound but rather the energy of sound on a higher frequency.
As we open to this inner hearing, we become more able to hear the divine wisdom of our Soul energy, higher self, and our spiritual guides and teachers on the other dimensions.
Air Ray Activates the Brow Chakra
The Air Ray also activates the brow chakra and pineal chakra. This activates our inner knowing of our Divinity and brings an enhanced ability to connect with our inner sight (clairvoyance) in this way.
Our pineal and brow chakras become useful to us when we open our heart chakra. When our heart chakra is open there is a moment when the heart and brow chakras connect, and we can more easily ‘see’ through our heart and brow chakras combined. This allows us to see through the dimensions of life more easily to other levels of consciousness.
When our heart, brow and throat chakras are open we can ‘see’ our divine truth and express it through our open throat chakra.
Air Ray Opens us to our Higher Mind
As well as the atmosphere and the air around us to breathe, the Air element brings us, at a subtle level, the power of thought. When we are totally in tune with the universe, our thoughts come from our sacred mind in harmony with the Mind of God. The Air Ray helps to align with or understand the mind of God.
