What is Reiki Healing?
Reiki Healing is a tool for deep inner change and healing. It releases emotional and mental tension and can start you on a journey of profound inner healing if you wish it. It is also naturally awakening and reconnects you with your spiritual nature.
In my healing sessions, i offer Reiki as part of the Eternal Light Healing system. This is an enhanced form of Reiki that reaches more deeply to help you heal.
Channelled Healing
Reiki healing is energy that comes from Spirit and is channelled by the healer to the recipient, mainly through the hands and heart.
This energy is very pure as it comes from Source. As Love is stronger than fear, it lifts out fear and low feeling energy out of out body, mind and emotions and transmutes it to Love.
Where does Reiki Come From?
Reiki was brought to us by Mikao Usui, a deeply spiritual man and a ‘Master of Spiritual Energies’. He had a profound and pure connection to Spirit and spent many hours in the mountains, in meditative contemplation.
Deep within his Soul, Usui found he could feel the Universal Life-Force energy that surrounded him in the mountains. He could feel its healing power and its connection to God, Oneness and all of Creation.

The Birth of Reiki
He had a deep desire to help his fellow humanity and wished to find a way to help others access this energy for their own healing.
He had been born in Japan where the concept of energy initiations was generally acknowledged as it had been part of Buddhist practice for thousands of years. So, he was shown, through his Spirit, how to use an energy initiation to allow others to connect with this energy and use it for their own inner healing.
This is the healing energy we now call Reiki.
Universal Life-Force
Reiki healing carries the energy of the Universal Life-Force, the force of creation of matter in our universe. This is the energy that in the beginning of time created the substance of our earth, her animals, vegetation and our human bodies.
It is therefore easy to see how this profound energy is able to cleanse and rejuvenate our energies.
How Reiki Makes You Feel
Cleansing & Rejuvenating
Reiki cleanses and energises the etheric body; the subtle body layer of the auric field that sits immediately around the body.
The etheric body carries the energetic blueprint of the physical body, so as it is cleared and strengthened, it supports greater harmony and wellbeing within the physical body itself.
Grounding and Calming
The Reiki Ray has a deeply grounding and calming effect. It opens the base and feet chakras and strengthens your energetic connection to Mother Earth.
Feeling more grounded and connected to Mother Earth helps to stabilise the emotions and help you to feel more present in your physical body.
Emotional Balance and Wholeness
Because all levels of our being are deeply interconnected, the Reiki Ray brings healing and balance to the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, helping to restore a greater sense of peace and alignment throughout the whole person.
Spiritual Integration
Reiki enhances spiritual awareness as the energy comes from Source and resonates with the part of you that is connected to Spirit at all times.
It brings this spiritual part of you forward into your conscious awareness and this facilitates rapid spiritual evolution.
