Reiki healing is energy that comes from Source that is channelled to the recipient, mainly through the hands.
Reiki forms a part of the more advanced and deeper acting healing system that I work with; Eternal Light Healing. In this system, the Reiki Ray was enhanced and renamed the Gaia Ray in honour of this change.
How Reiki Helps
Cleansing & Rejuvenating
Reiki cleanses and energises the etheric body; the subtle energy body that carries the energetic blueprint of the physical body. As it is cleared and strengthened, it supports greater harmony and wellbeing within the physical body itself.
Grounding and Calming
The Reiki Ray has a deeply grounding and calming effect. It opens the base and feet chakras and strengthens your energetic connection to Mother Earth.
Feeling more grounded and connected to Mother Earth helps to stabilise the emotions and helps you to feel more present in your physical body.

Because all levels of our being are deeply interconnected, the Reiki Ray brings healing and balance to the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, helping to restore a greater sense of peace and alignment throughout the whole person.

Reiki enhances spiritual awareness as the energy clears away fear from your energy system that holds you away from experiencing more of your Soul energy and spiritual nature.
When this fear is cleared you facilitates the flow of Universal Love between you (the inner light of you Spirit) and the world; and that feels so good!
What is Reiki?
In order to understand the nature of Reiki healing it is helpful to know where it came from…
In the early part of the 20th century a deeply spiritual man by the name of Mikao Usui, spent many hours in the mountains of Japan, meditating deeply and connecting with the energy of the mountains around him.
He felt the immense healing power of Mother Earth and the natural world around him. As he had a deep desire to help his fellow humankind, his Spirit showed him how he could use an initiation process to help others connect with this energy for their own inner healing.
He initiated others into this healing energy; the energy we now call Reiki healing.
Reiki - the Earth Element Healing Ray
Reiki healing carries the life-force energy of creation in our universe; the creation of matter. In the beginning of time, it was this energy that created the substance of our earth, her animals, vegetation and our human bodies.
Since this is the energy that created our bodies in their original pristine form, it is easy to see how this profound energy is able to nurture, cleanse and rejuvenate our energies on all levels of our being.
Beyond Reiki - Eternal Light Healing
Since the introduction of Reiki, humanity has undergone a huge spiritual expansion. New, higher frequency energies are now needed as we are able to work at a much deeper level of our consciousness today.
Reiki forms the foundation of the more advanced Eternal Light Healing system which was to come.
