Reiki Healing
Reiki healing is a form of channeled healing in which energy from Source and is channelled through the healer’s hands to the recipient.
It is one of the many different healing energies that I call upon to do a healing session.
The Universal Life Force Energy
The energy of Reiki is Universal Life-Force energy. It was this energy that Mikao Usui, the father of Reiki, connected to in the mountains of Japan.
He was a deeply spiritual man who spent many hours in the mountains, meditating deeply and connecting with the energy of the mountains around him.
He felt the immense healing power of Mother Earth and the natural world around him.
The energy he was tuning into was the ‘Universal Life Force’; the creative force that brings our earth and everything upon her into being. This is the energy we now call ‘Reiki’.
Usui was shown by his Spirit how to use an ‘initiation’ to allow others to connect with this energy for their own healing and spiritual growth.

The Healing Effects of Reiki
This powerful creative energy has a healing effect on our body, mind and Spirit. As Reiki carries the energy of creation in its pristine form, it is able to nurture, cleanse and rejuvenate our energies on all levels of our being.
Calming & Stabilising
Reiki healing feels deeply nurturing as to us. It brings a feeling of physical safety, calm and deep peacefulness. Feeling safe, warm and ‘held’ in this energy helps us slow down and enjoy the present moment of life.
At difficult times in our life, feeling safe and held in this also way helps to stabilize the emotions, bringing calm and balance at difficult times.
At easier times in our life, Reiki can take us deeply within to the place of peace that resides in our heart centre. It helps us feel more connected with God/Great Spirit.
Cleansing & Rejuvenating
Reiki cleanses and energises the ‘etheric body’. This is the subtle energy body that carries the energetic blueprint of the physical body. As the etheric body is cleansed and strengthened, it supports physical wellbeing in the body.
Grounding and Calming
The Reiki Ray opens the base and feet chakras and strengthens your energetic connection to Mother Earth. This connection to Mother Earth helps to stabilise the emotions and helps you feel grounded and present in your physical body.
Opens the Heart
The Reiki Ray helps to open the heart to help you connect with yourself on a spiritual level.
As the energy clears away fear from your energy system, you will naturally experience more of your Soul energy, as it is only fear that stands between you and experiencing more of your spiritual nature.

Since the introduction of Reiki, humanity has undergone a huge spiritual expansion. New, higher frequency energies are now needed as we are able to work at a much deeper level of our consciousness today.
