How Reiki Works to Create Change
Reiki works on the subtle energetic blocks in your aura that prevent you from being all that you can be. These blocks may have arisen in childhood but are often ones we have brought with us into this incarnation from traumas in past lifetimes.
The energy of trauma stays with us as it takes time, energy and consciousness to expand beyond it and let it go. This is not difficult to do but we are not taught how to, nor are we encouraged to do so. Rather we are encouraged to put up with it and cope with all the inner pain we feel.
This creates huge amounts of tension in the physical body which can eventually lead to illness. It creates tension in the mind which starts to worry and be anxious. We feel stressed as we have to hold down our true feelings to get by. This continues until we find the time and occasion to connect with and release all that is holding us back.
